The rain &#8211; again &#8211; intervened and mixed things up, forcing officials to cancel the qualifying session and to postpone the race to the next day. Third on the starting grid, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin quickly noticed that his car&#8217;s suspension settings would not perform correctly in race conditions. He fought with understeer and oversteer for almost three quarters of the race as the crew worked hard at each pit stop to correct the situation. With about 50 laps to go, the car was back to running properly and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was able to get back up to his usual on-track effectiveness. He then mounted an efficient come back to a seventh-place finish at the end.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;We have always done well in St-Eustache, but today&#8217;s suspension setup did not work well at all. By the end of the race, the <strong>Weather<\/strong><strong>Tech<\/strong> <strong>Canada<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare team had corrected the issues as the race went on and allowed me to get back up to speed and fight to get through the pack and up to the leaders. We all would have preferred a top-5, but under the circumstances, it is an acceptable result,&#8221; explained Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Penultimate Race of the Season<\/strong>: New Hampshire Motor Speedway (September 20 and 21, 2019)<\/p>\n<p>NASCAR Pinty&#8217;s Series teams will compete for the second year at an event outside Canada on the New Hampshire Motor Speedway mile oval during the &#8220;Visit New Hampshire 100&#8221; race (Loudon, New Hampshire, United States) on September 20 and 21. Team #47 <strong>Weather<\/strong><strong>Tech<\/strong> <strong>Canada<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare is looking forward to being back on this challenging, almost flat, 1.058-mile oval. The elongated straights and tight turns are reminiscent of high-speed road course corners as the driver must brake hard before attacking turn 1, clip the apex (the inside of the track) then accelerate hard using the full width of the track on the exit of corner 2.
