After changing the gearbox during Saturday&#8217;s practice session (August 24), Louis-Philippe Dumoulin qualified the car in seventh position, slowed down by a competitor in his fast lap. The car was competitive on track, but a slow puncture with two laps to go and a last-lap incident left Louis-Philippe Dumoulin in 13<sup>th<\/sup> place at the finish. Despite these serious issues, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin maintained his third place in the championship, and with only three races left in the 2019 schedule, every point will count.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;It&#8217;s a real shame for team #47 <strong>WeatherTech Canada<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare, as we had a car strong enough to earn a Top-5 finish in the race, and who knows, maybe earn a spot on the podium. Our pit strategy worked out fine until I left the pits before the pit work was completed. That cost me a one-lap penalty, as I had gone into the next car&#8217;s pit box. Add a puncture with two laps to go which cost us several positions at the end of the race. Needles to say, we are now focusing on the next race,&#8221; said Louis-Philippe Dumoulin.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Next event:<\/strong> Autodrome St-Eustache (September 7, 2019)<\/p>\n<p>On September 7, Team #47 <strong>WeatherTech Canada<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare will race for the last time on the short oval, which will close at the end of the season.
