25th<\/sup> participation in the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res for Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin<\/strong><\/div>\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin and the team #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare | Trois-Rivi\u00e8res Mitsubishi | MIA | Bernier Cr\u00e9peau Chrysler Fiat are coming to the Trois-Rivi\u00e8res event with the firm intention of performing at all levels: on track and with the two drivers who have joined the team for this event. The history of 25 participations in the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res is marked by Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin’s achievements, from his beginnings and dotted with repeated demonstrations of his irresistible determination. Celebrating this 50th<\/sup> edition is more than a race for the eldest Dumoulin brothers. From being his father Richard’s spectator at the track, through his passage at the Jim Russell Driving School and the prestigious Player’s Driver Development Program <\/strong>(1996 to 1998), and his growth into a professional driver, a whole generation will be expressing itself on the track this weekend.<\/p>\n

“With our partners, family, friends and fans joining us over all these years, Trois-Rivi\u00e8res is our most important event of the season. So far this season, we have run on two road courses, with good results that we want to improve on. Our car is quick, and the objective is to qualify up front, to be in the leading group right from the start of the race and be in a position to win in the last laps, as we were last year here,” explains the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong> | Groupe Bellemare | Trois-Rivi\u00e8res Mitsubishi | MIA | Bernier Cr\u00e9peau Chrysler Fiat.<\/p>\n

“We will be very busy preparing the cars at the Dumoulin Competition shop with four cars on the track. Our plan is to have the best possible weekend for all four drivers,” said the General Manager of Dumoulin Competition.<\/p>\n

Like the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res (GP3R), the Dumoulin family is celebrating its 50th<\/sup> anniversary in motor racing this year. Collectively, the family has the highest number of starts on this track (67 starts: Richard (father): 13 | Jean-Fran\u00e7ois: 24 | Louis-Philippe: 21 and G\u00e9rald (uncle): 9) and are among its most fervent ambassadors abroad.<\/p>\n

Richard Dumoulin<\/strong> will be in the spotlight this weekend, stay tuned to our social networks for the schedule.<\/p>\n

“The 50th edition of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res and the 50-years participation for our family are at the origin of our passion for motor racing and why my brother and I have chosen that career path. Congratulations to all those who have contributed to these successes,” says the man who will be competing at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res for the 25th<\/sup> consecutive year.<\/p>\n

Event open to the public : This 50th<\/sup> edition will also salute a great era of the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivi\u00e8res with a reunion of the drivers of the famous Players Driver Development Program, held this Friday starting at 4:30\u00a0pm around the Expo pool. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin will be part of the event<\/strong>. Be there to meet the drivers, and enjoy the many activities, music and other surprises.<\/p>\n
