During the restart on lap 90, the driver of the\u00a0#04\u00a0<strong>Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/ MIA car was engaged in a serious fight for ninth place with\u00a0Andrew Ranger, a battle that raged on until the mid-race break on lap 155. Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin didn&#8217;t slow down and continued pushing forward with other drivers also joining the battle. Oscillating between fifth and seventh place, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin was pushed off-track and maintained his place through sheer determination\u00a0(173rd\u00a0lap).<\/p>\n<p>Until the very end of the race, Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin was able to defend his place. &#8220;Settings adjustments made through each stop have transformed the car. I was able to overtake competitors as needed. However, the skirmish on lap 161 led to damage on the front suspension, causing the car to under-steer\u00a0when entering turns. I still managed to adapt to its behavior and to make strategic overtakes towards the end of the race. I&#8217;m excited to take full advantage of the #04\u00a0<strong>Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/ MIA car in September.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>The report of the race to today due to rain has forced three crew members of the #04\u00a0<strong>Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/ MIA team to return to Quebec due to professional engagements.
