The weekend ended on a great note for the\u00a0#47\u00a0WeatherTech\u00a0Canada<\/strong>\/ Groupe Bellemare team in Toronto. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has managed to score his\u00a0second podium of the season.\u00a0He was convinced that the car would be at its best performance level at the end of the race, and particularly with a restart happening in the last few laps. It’s exactly what happened. Occupying second place at the time of the restart, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin was able to defend his place to the very end.<\/p>\n

Louis-Philippe Dumoulin has qualified the #47\u00a0WeatherTech\u00a0Canada<\/strong>\u00a0\/ Groupe Bellemare car in seventh place yesterday, only 1.2 seconds behind pole position. With his crew chief, Bill Burns, they analysed the settings in order to improve speed. Strategic overtakes were made skilfully and without contact.\u00a0<\/p>\n

“We’re very happy for the team. The car wasn’t behaving like we wanted during the qualifiers, and Bill Burns and the crew have worked hard to make sure we could fight within the top 5. Our transmission ratio throughout the laps was not at the level we wanted, but we were efficient during restarts. The circumstances played in our favour and we ended up on the podium. We will need to continue to optimize settings in order to come back strong at the Trois-Rivi\u00e8res Grand Prix”, mentions the driver, who now occupies third place in the championship rankings.<\/p>\n

On the road to Western Canada \u2013 AN UNMISSABLE EVENT!<\/strong><\/p>\n

Autographs session at Delta Bessborough, Saskatoon, Saskatchewan :\u00a0Monday\u00a0July 24, 2017<\/p>\n

Jean-Fran\u00e7ois and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin will take part in an autographs session organized by their partner, Delta Bessborough, this July 24th<\/sup>\u00a0from 4:30 to 5:30 pm. The trailers and #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong> \/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/MIA cars, as well as the #47\u00a0WeatherTech Canada<\/strong>\/ Groupe Bellemare cars of the 2014 NASCAR Pinty’s champion will also be on-location.<\/p>\n

Racing fans and the media are invited to meet the driver and take photos (in front of the Delta Bessborough’s main entrance).<\/p>\n

Thanks to the support of the company Finning, a cocktail with the Dumoulin brothers and the crew will be held following that at the\u00a0Metric Garden Lounge @The Bess\u00a0at the hotel\u00a0between\u00a05:30 to 7:30 pm.<\/p>\n
