NASCAR Pinty’s Series – Race 4, at Circuit ICAR<\/strong><\/p>\n

\u00a0\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

NASCAR Pinty’s Series teams are in Qu\u00e9bec for the second race of this season in this province, to be held at Circuit ICAR\u00a0(Mirabel, QC)\u00a0this coming Saturday night, July 8. Road racing specialist Jean-Fran\u00e7ois Dumoulin is eager to show everyone how quick his\u00a0#04\u00a0Spectra Premium<\/strong>\u00a0\/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/ MIA is, especially after the pace it demonstrated during pre-race testing. The car was certainly quick, and the team is aiming at its first podium finish this year.<\/p>\n

\u00a0<\/p>\n

Given his experience at racing under the lights, Jean-Francois Dumoulin is convinced that the whole team is as prepared as they can be for this very special race, especially given the new shortened layout they will use, starting in daylight and finishing in darkness. The driver of the\u00a0#04\u00a0Spectra Premium<\/strong>\u00a0\/ Bernier Cr\u00e9peau \/ Groupe Bellemare \/ MIA car added: “Night racing requires a different setup than in daylight. I really enjoy the challenge of racing under these conditions.\u00a0It opens up new possibilities for passing a competitor, using different lines and braking in unusual places.\u00a0I realize that I will not be alone out there as the quality of the starting field is higher than ever for this very special race. You can expect a lot of passing and spectacular driving over the whole race distance.”<\/p>\n

The event will take place over one day, with untimed practice schedule for 11.15 on Saturday morning and the 75-lap race starting at 7pm. A short track, with every driver trying as hard as he can – Don’t miss this great Show!<\/p>\n
