At the wheel of the #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Crépeau \/ Groupe Bellemare\/ MIA \/ Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi car, Jean-François Dumoulin quickly made his way to the leaders today on the track of the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park, Bowmanville, Ontario. Oscillating between seventh and second place, he was headed for a certain appearance in the top-5 until the 32nd<\/sup> lap, where his engine broke and brought his race to an abrupt end.<\/p>\n

“We know the car is fast, as we did accomplish the fourth best time in the trials. We had much higher expectations than tenth place for the #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Crépeau \/ Groupe Bellemare\/ MIA\/ Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi car in the qualifiers. Up until mid-race, everything was going quite well, but I started feeling vibrations in the engine about five laps following the pit stops, and I was forced to stop on the track,” explains Jean-François Dumoulin.<\/p>\n

The NASCAR Pinty’s series is now headed to Quebec this upcoming September 10 for the second-to-last event of the season on the oval track of Autodrome St-Eustache. In 2015, we were treated to a spectacular event during which Jean-François Dumoulin had defended his eighth place with a real ruthlessness. “We’re confident for the race in St-Eustache. The trials went well last week, and our lap times are encouraging,” mentions the driver of the #04 Spectra Premium<\/strong>\/ Bernier Crépeau \/ Groupe Bellemare\/ MIA \/ Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi car.<\/p>\n

The Dumoulin Compétition Great Romp fundraiser for the Quebec Cancer Foundation continued with great success. An amount of $350 was added to the previous $6,270 total, for a new grand total of $6,620 to date. There are two more events for you to come sign your name on the cars of the Dumoulin brothers, come join us on September 10 (St-Eustache, Québec) and 17 (Kawartha, Ontario)!<\/p>\n

Save the date:<\/strong> On September 19, the waiter for one night only happy hour event will take place at “La Maison de débauche par le Carlito”, at which the two trunks of the Dumoulin brothers’ cars will be put up for auction, all going to the fundraiser for the Foundation.
