Louis-Philippe Dumoulin, from Trois-Rivières, QC, Canada, is far more than just a race car driver; he represents passion, competition, and excellence in motorsport. A three-time NASCAR Pinty’s Series champion in 2014, 2018, and 2021, he has delivered outstanding performances on the track. Over the course of his career, Louis-Philippe has competed in prestigious events such as the Rolex 24 at Daytona, NASCAR Nationwide, the KONI Challenge, and the Formula Renault and Atlantic series. His success in Formula Ford, where he claimed the championship title in 2002, further solidified his reputation as a talented and accomplished driver.

In addition to his achievements in competition, Louis-Philippe Dumoulin also excelled at the Jim Russell Racing School, where he was among the top students. In 1995, he won the Jim Russell Mechanics’ Championship at Mont-Tremblant (Québec, Canada), showcasing his versatility and dedication to the sport. Always eager to broaden his skill set, he completed a university degree in business administration in 2001, though motorsport has remained at the heart of his interests and passions. Today, he is recognized as a professional driving instructor for prestigious automakers, private clubs such as Porsche and Ferrari, the Ferrari Challenge, and the Jim Russell Racing School.

  • In 2024, he reached the podium with a 3rd place finish in Bowmanville in the NASCAR Canada series.

  • In 2023, he impressed his home crowd by finishing 2nd at the Grand Prix de Trois-Rivières in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series.

  • 2022, LP Dumoulin competed in two Trans Am Championship Series – TA2® Class events (Charlotte and Sonoma) in a Peterson Racing-prepared Ford Mustang & finished seventh in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series Championship (2 podiums, 1 pole position, 5 top-5 and 10 top-10 in 13 races)
  • 2021 NASCAR Pinty’s Series Champion : 1 victory, 3 podiums, 4 top-5 et 9 top-10 finishes in 10 events. Second championship with cars entirely prepared by Dumoulin Competition;
  • Inducted into the Canadian Motorsport Hall of Fame (2020) for his outstanding contribution.
  • In 2020, the sanitary situation forced the NASCAR Pinty’s Series to present only 6 races in the “Pinty’s FanCave Challenge”. Louis-Philippe Dumoulin scored 1 win and 3 top-5 finishes.
  • In 2019, he finishes the NASCAR Pinty’s championships (driver & owner) in third place (4 podiums, including 2 wins and eight top-5s in thirtheen events).

  • In 2015, he finishes the NASCAR Pinty’s championship in fourth place (2 podiums and six top-5s in eleven events);
  • 2014 champion of the NASCAR Pinty’s series: 5 podiums and 2 victories, as well as 9 top-5s in eleven events. It is the first time that a team made up entirely of Quebecers wins this championship. (Prep. team: King Autosport, managed by Martin Roy);
