Driving the #04 Spectra Premium | Groupe Bellemare | Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi | MIA | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat, Jean-Francois Dumoulin came to the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park with the firm intention of finishing on the podium for his last race of the season. Mission accomplished! Tenth on the starting grid, Jean-Francois Dumoulin served us his exceptional driving from start to finish, strategically overtaking with all the determination we know him to lead a lap. Always on the lookout, this master of attack promised to drive intelligently and efficiently and to be present in the leading pack at the end of the race. Indeed, after a battle in the final laps, it was in third place that the eldest of the Dumoulin brothers crossed the finish line.
“I am more than satisfied with our race today. We made several changes during the practice session to improve the car. In qualifying, we didn’t manage to do a good lap with our new tires, slowed down by yellow flags. However, we were confident for the race. The car #04 Spectra Premium | Groupe Bellemare | Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi | MIA | Bernier Crépeau Chrysler Fiat was fast despite a slight understeer that I was able to adapt my driving. On lap 47, in fifth position near the leaders, I opted to manage my pace and leave myself a little bit of tires for all eventualities in the final laps and it worked on the last restart as an opportunity to pass opened for me to finish on the podium,” concluded Jean-François Dumoulin, proud of his team.
2019 Season
While the racing season is ending for Jean-François Dumoulin, Dumoulin Competition’s season is not over and his duties as General Manager continue. With two podium finishes, a top-5 and a sixth place, his on-track performance was certainly very entertaining and always of the highest quality and style.

“The Dumoulin Corner” exhibit at the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum
On May 8th, 2018, the brothers Jean-François and Louis-Philippe Dumoulin proudly unveiled “The Dumoulin Corner” (L’Espace Dumoulin), an exhibit at the Gilles-Villeneuve Museum as part of the “50 Years at the Wheel” celebrations.
Those who missed the exhibition last year can see it this year, along with the creations of Luc Pilon, who inspired the “50 Years” logo.
