An incident keeps the Trois-Rivières native from finishing his home race.

For Jean-François Dumoulin, the
race in Trois-Rivières is the most important on the calendar. He would
have liked to deliver a completely different ending to his partners,
family, friends, and fans who were all present to encourage him. On the
starting grid in tenth place, the #04 Dodge Bernier Crépeau / Bellemare/
MIA / Trois-Rivières Mitsubishi / Spectra Premium did not get to cross
the finish line due to a mechanical issue which ended up sending the car
off the track, causing heavy damage to the vehicle. Jean-François
Dumoulin is a driver who has always displayed great tenacity, and in
these circumstances, he will once again show his determination and
participate in the next event of the NASCAR Canadian Tire series on the
oval track of the Riverside International Speedway, Antigonish, Nova
Scotia, this upcoming August 15.
